Equipment - I experimented and tested out the cameras provided by the media department including the GH4 and the handheld DJI OSMO. Both these cameras recorded high quality 1080p HD with the GH4 recording at 4K. Nevertheless the GH4, seemed like the best choice however it was without a handheld frame/stabiliser for steady camera movement. After taking mock up shots I realised the shakey quality of video disrupted the footage. Furthermore, the OSMO didn't fair well in low light and the zoom wasn't good enough when taking long shots or close ups. This caused issues as I wanted to take a lot of my footage at dusk. The Gimbal element to the camera was incredibly useful as it allowed for steady camera movement and freedom when shooting. Despite this, the camera was in constant use by other students meaning I couldn't go out for shoots when I needed to.
